Audi has updated the Audi Q7, an all-wheel drive permanent total ('quattro') and without reduction of five meters long and up to seven seats, which was launched in the market in spring 2006. It is on sale from € 56,650.

The changes affect the exterior, interior and engines. It is available in five or seven seats with the same engines that the model of 2006, although most are minor modifications to consume less. The range consists of three diesel and two petrol.

The first is a 239 hp V6, a V8 340 hp (326 hp was before) and a V12 500 hp. The petrol V6 is a 280 hp and 350 hp V8. All have direct injection. Consume less fuel than previous versions, except the V12 TDI.

The 3.0 TDI engine from 239 hp is available in two versions, one normal and another, called 'clean diesel, which emits less nitrogen oxides (NOx) and fulfills the Euro 6 antipollution regulations coming into force in 2014.

It spent 9.1 and 8.9 l/100 km respectively, slightly less than previous V6 TDI (9.8 l/100 km). In equal equipment, the version "clean diesel" is € 2,000 more expensive.

Among the all-similar, only the BMW X5 and X6 30d of 235 hp has approved an average consumption lower than the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI "clean diesel". Models such as the Volkswagen Touareg (239 hp), Mercedes-Benz ML (224 hp) or the Porsche Cayenne Diesel (239 hp) consume more.

The Audi Q7 can also take a 4.2 TDI and 6.0 TDI. The 4.2-liter gives 14 hp more than before (340 hp versus 326 hp) 1.2 l/100 km and spends less (9.9 l/100 km versus 11.1 l/100 km). The V12 TDI engine is unchanged: continue with 500 hp and a consumption of 11.3 l/100 km.

Petrol engines (3.6 FSI 280 PS and 4.2 FSI 350 HP) do not vary but the consumption is less approved. The 280 HP spends 12.1 l/100 km and 350 hp 12.7 l/100 km (0.6 l/100 km and 0.9 l/100 km less, respectively).

All versions except the V12 TDI, with an alternator that recharges the main battery during braking and retention phases. According to Audi, this device reduces CO2 emissions up to 5 g / km.
